I am a qualified English Language Teacher with more than 10 years experience teaching English as a Foreign Language.

For private one-to-one tuition, I charge:
£18 per hour or £25 for 1.5 hours

    I have already had several English teachers, but I want you know you were the best teacher I have ever had! I really love your style of teaching!

    Certanly when I go back to Brazil my English will be fluent! I am very glad that I met you!

    As you know, five months ago, I was not able to say a correct english sentence. Now, I know it's not perfect, but I like to speak english, i like to write in English, and it's thanks to you, because every week, I trust more and more in me and in my capacities to become better in english.     Also want to use this oppurtunity to suggest Nicky to anyone who`s looking for English teacher, Expecially for CAE (Cambridge Advanced Sertificate in English). Without her lessons there would be no chance for me to pass this with such a good score, so thank you very much!

    Nicky!! I'm very happy that you finally decided to creat a blog to advertise your teaching!! I have no words to thank you for being such a good teacher and helping me with the IELTS exam preparation. I had lessons with Nicky for 4 months prior to the exam and she knew exactly what she was doing, she helped me with my weaknesses in English and encouraged me with my stregths. IELTS can be very difficult if you are not prepared for that type of exam, but Nicky has a whole structure teaching style that without all that I would never be able to get such a high score. Thanks again!!!

    And of course her teaching methods;she always makes you enjoy while you are learning, always knows that i can do better and forces you to do the best ...

    Hi Nicky,

    back in Switzerland I love to think about my time in Brighton and with you as my teacher! you were not just a teacher, you were my friend and you helped me a lot to manage my life there. Thank you so much!! During the months I was learning English with you, I imporved a lot and now I feel much more comfortable to use my English. we had a lot of very interessting conversations about cultures... life... and so on, and now, thanks of all your corrections and advice I'm happy to be able to have a conversation on a good level.
    I'm going on with prepearing myself for the Advanced Certificate. Thanks to you I know now exactely how to prepare myself and what I'm supposed to do for it. You could give me a lot of helpfull and important advice, I appreciate it very much...

    Nicky, I miss you a lot and hope that we ll see us again one time...!!

    Studing english with Nicky is much more than learning the grammar, vocabulary or expressions from the language. She will help you to understand english and internalize it in a natural way as if you have been learning english all your life.

    But the best thing of Nicky is for sure her attitude! She will transfer you her positive energy, and she will make of studing english something interesting, dinamic and easy!

    I must recognize that she has changed my life...both for my english as for my way to see the life!

    Learning english with Nicky is a experience that you will never forget! And for sure, you will not regret it!

    Hello Nicky,

    Just to say a big thanks, I learned a lot from you and those hours we spend together, firstly I am feeling so much more confident with my english and I have now been able to progress at work and with my social life here in Brighton.
    You have been working with me from the time I arrived in Brighton and you have been so patient as you had a lot of work to do with me.
    You were my teacher but also a confident and a friend.
    I would advise everybody to have lessons with Nicky she is by far the best teacher.

    I have studied English with Nicky for 3 months. Over these past three months, I feel that my English has improved immensity. My pronunciation have improved and I have learned the correct construction of the sentences. She has given me a lot of encouragement and has helped me to build up a sound foundation. Now I got more confidence in my English, Thank you Nicky!!!

    Nicky is not just an English teacher but a good person too. She was my teacher and now we are great friends.

    She easily understands student needs so she will help you with grammar, pronunciation, academic English, slang etc. and you will be ready to face any conversation/situation in different environments.

    I passed my CAE exam thanks to her so I totally recommend her lessons to anyone, you won't regret it!
